Embrace Embrace - The Band Are Back!

After an eight year hiatus, UK's own Embrace have re-emerged from Out of Nothing with a new Single/EP & Album releas dates. Hooray for British Music! Honestly, this is A Glorious Day, italics and puns aside, thank fuck for this news, because the UK music scene has been dying on it's arse like Ricky Gervais hosting an awards ceremony.

I just checked out the new single from forthcoming EP 'Refugees' (Out Feb 17th) and it has classic Embrace sounds with what I was kinda hoping for as a fan, something new added to the music, a burst of energy that they're now back and ready to go. Their 8th album, titled 'Embrace' will be available April 28th. What to expect? Check out the video for forthcoming single/ep 'Refugees' to answer that query. I'm actually really looking forward to hearing the new album. That and the new U2 abum that's gonna get announced at the SuperBowl, but that's another blog in the writing. For now, Embrace Embrace!
